As a result of the MOTHERWOOD workshop, the developed piece of furniture, which was named TORII for its similarity to the Japanese Shinto toriis, had to be finished with final assembly and a cover with finishing oil. The piece was presented as the blend of Mexican and Japanese cultures during the workshop.
To everybodies´ surprise, the TORII bookshelf was the star piece of the auctions because it was the one which captured more attention during the previous exhibition and because during the auction it was the most profitable one elevating its base price eleven times. Base price was 800 pesos and was sold after a warm bidding for 9000 pesos.

During December Universidad Panamericana has special events around Christmas, one of the most important ones is “La Posadita”. It is when children from communities around Aguascalientes city are brought to UP to have a party, brake “piñatas”, get a breakfast receive a gift from Santa Claus.
